Most employers ask for references before hiring an employee. The process is time consuming and referencedepot was developed to simplify the process.
Jobseeker:
* Registers on the website and chooses a user ID and password * Builds a list of Reference Givers by filling out a simple form * Notifies the Reference Givers via email, requesting their reference, by clicking a button * Receives an account number at the end of the registration process * Lists the account number on his/her resume and directs prospective Employers/Recruiters to the www.ReferenceDepot.com website
Reference Giver:
* Receives an email from www.ReferenceDepot.com notifying him/her that the Jobseeker has requested a reference from them * Uses the instructions provided in the email to login to www.ReferenceDepot.com and post his/her reference by answering a set of questions * Leaves a confidential reference that will only be viewable by prospective Employers/Recruiters who have been given the Jobseeker’s account number
Employer or Recruiter:
* Registered on www.ReferenceDepot.com and uses the Jobseeker’s account number to view the list of references * Purchases the complete reference text provided by the Jobseeker’s Reference Giver and immediately receives the formatted text via email
